Kamera founded by Greg Flores (Lead Vocals) and Vince Michaels (Lead Guitar, Keys, Vocals) back when they were both fresh out of high-school. Despite playing in various bands, Greg and Vince seemed to have the common desire to write and perform melodic rock music.  After several incarnations of the band which included bassist Marshall Barber, the band really never got of the ground. Different musicians would come and go but the desire of creating the unique sound of Kamera would still be the dream of Michaels and Flores.

The mid-90's had seen the passing of the Stadium Rock and big-hair bands which had given way to the Seattle grunge sound.  Meanwhile, Greg and Vince had remained true to their vision and had set out to develop Kamera into more than a cookie-cutter styled band.  Greg had recruited a former school mate, Terry Holder to fill the void on drums.

Kamera, as it were, seemed to be making a good run.  Performing in clubs, honing their craft and recruiting the expertise of Jim Bartz (Survivor, BoDeans) to engineer and produce their demo EP.  The future was looking bright for Kamera when things (for a lack of a better term) just fell apart.  Bass players, money and patience were in short supply, so Kamera was all but disbanded.

A year or so had passed as did another fad in rock music.  Meanwhile, Vince and Greg had remained in touch and realized that their common admiration for each other's musicianship and their style of writing and performing remains intact as different phases in music come and go.  With that in mind, they, along with former keyboardist Scott Nobles set out to fill the vacant rhythm section.

Marshall Barber was brought back into the fold.  Marshall's bass, vocals and overall musical capabilities added to the unique sound that is Kamera.  The band had gone through several drummers before convincing Terry to come out of hibernation and fill the void.  The result is a unique, melodic rock sound which is evident in Kamera's latest release "X-POSURE" Now available, click here for more details.
